This year’s HIMSS Europe 2025 in Paris brought together the brightest minds and most forward-looking innovations in digital health—and the MedSecurance project was proud to be among them.
As an EU-funded initiative focused on strengthening cybersecurity and resilience across healthcare systems, MedSecurance made a strong impression through active participation, knowledge exchange, and meaningful engagement with stakeholders from across the health, research, and tech sectors.
Spotlight on Value-Driven Innovation
MedSecurance was featured in the thematic workshop “Value Co-Creation in Healthcare: Enhancing Socio-Economic Outcomes,” which showcased 12 leading European research projects driving positive change in the sector. The session provided a valuable platform to present our work, demonstrate our tools, and share how the project is helping secure digital infrastructures in real healthcare environments.
Our team highlighted the real-world use cases that guide our development process and ensure that MedSecurance delivers practical, scalable solutions to healthcare providers. From incident response to threat detection, our tools are designed to address the unique cybersecurity challenges faced by hospitals, clinics, and health authorities.
Engaging with the European Health Ecosystem
Beyond the workshop, the MedSecurance team connected with health IT professionals, innovators, researchers, and policymakers throughout the conference. These interactions helped raise awareness of the project’s mission and foster potential future collaborations across borders and disciplines.
The event also provided an excellent opportunity to gain insight into emerging trends in digital health—especially the growing emphasis on data security, interoperability, and digital trust.
Looking Ahead
With the project entering its final phase, MedSecurance is focused on scaling its outcomes, increasing visibility, and ensuring that the tools and knowledge generated are accessible to the wider European healthcare ecosystem.
Stay connected with us as we prepare to launch a series of training resources, use case demonstrations, and an upcoming workshop dedicated to sharing the project’s full results.
Together, we’re helping build a more secure, resilient, and trustworthy future for healthcare in Europe.
