Doccla was proud to participate in the EU-funded MedSecurance project, a landmark initiative designed to redefine cybersecurity and assurance standards for the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). As a leader in European virtual care, Doccla provided the clinical infrastructure required to pressure-test and validate security-by-design principles within a healthcare ecosystem.
Our contribution centered on evaluating the MedSecurance toolbox as a business enabler, focusing on how advanced security frameworks drive operational excellence:
Risk Mitigation & Vulnerability Management: Testing the efficacy of model-based engineering to identify and neutralize systemic risks early in the development lifecycle.
Operational Agility & Cost Optimization: Validating how structured security frameworks can reduce the resource overhead and financial complexity of scaling new medical technologies.
Accelerated Market Integration: Assessing the ability of automated vetting processes to significantly reduce cycle times for onboarding third-party IoMT devices and algorithms.
Data Sovereignty & Enterprise Integrity: Evaluating robust protocols to ensure the absolute consistency and protection of sensitive data across distributed care environments.
Architectural Resilience: Testing the resilience of security methodologies to ensure service availability and operational continuity in an evolving threat landscape.
Through this partnership, Doccla has helped evaluate the value of the MedSecurance toolset in an enterprise healthcare ecosystem environment.
