Founded in 1976, it is dedicated to advancing medical informatics by promoting international collaboration, high standards in research, education, and technological innovation in healthcare.

The European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI) is playing a crucial role in the MedSecurance Project, strengthening outreach and engagement with key stakeholders to ensure the project's findings and tools are widely communicated and adopted in the healthcare cybersecurity landscape.

How EFMI is contributing to the Project:

Expanding Digital Presence – Growing MedSecurance’s social media reach across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), BlueSky and Facebook.
Knowledge Sharing – Featuring MedSecurance in the EFMI newsletter and within the EFMI network.
Content & Website Development – Enhancing the MedSecurance website with content and project updates.
Industry Engagement & Visibility – Representing MedSecurance at key conferences like EFMI MIE, EFMI STC, and HIMSS.
Spreading Awareness – Distributing project brochures at major industry events to educate and engage stakeholders.
