White Paper published addressing MDCG 2019-16 guidance
The MedSecurance project has published a White Paper titled: Gap Analysis and Impact of Novel Technologies, which summarises a gap analysis of the current MDCG 2019-16 guidance on cyber-security for medical devices that has been performed by the MedSecurance partners. The document identifies perceived shortcomings based identified from the analysis, recommends extensions and improvements to the current MDCG 2019-16 guidelines to address the identified gaps and the application of MedSecurance project innovations to achieve systematic security assurance and successful and economical certification of medical devices and systems in the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).
